Once upon a time, some jackass decided to try out RPG Maker XP out of boredom during the summer.
With it, he made a little game called "The Greatest Story Ever Told".
The game was unsurprisingly bad and unpolished, and now its still bad but somewhat more polished!
The story was really simple, The Guy decides to buy some milk, but realizes hes getting robbed! after beating the shit outta the robbers, he goes on a grand journey through literall hell, caves, deserts, cities, mountains, corrupted messes and back, killing the literal god and satan themselves, meeting new friends such as Johnny! an average guy who just wanted to help The Guy on his journey and meet a new friend. There was also a few enemies, but mainly just demons, remind me to add some more enemies in a future update!
...Yeah, for a game titled "The Greatest Story Ever Told" theres not alot of story in it, but it was made with complete disregard for any sort of quality so its not too much of a surprise.

I played through the game into what I think is the good ending. This game's writing was so cheesy that it was comedy gold for me. I would suggest maybe releasing a version without the achievements so the game doesn't crash if possible.
Im glad you enjoyed! lmao the writing was indeed awful, but i didnt wanna alter the og game too much so ig its here forever, and ill probably just scrap the achievements if i cant find a fix for the crashes.
So i went and did something about the achievements and simply just reverted to an older versiom of the script, granted it does make the achievements uglier and sorta breaks the achievement screen but it doesnt crash anymore, atleast it shouldnt
i downloaded this and it is missing an important file
what file? when i playtested it it worked no issue, so idk what could have went wrong

Do you have the rpg maker xp RTP installed? if not, download it from the offficial rpg maker website, i forgot you need that for the game..

Just search up rpg maker xp rtp and it should be the first result, if not then im about to put in an updated zip with the rtp installer in it so you can get it through that too
